As an organizational license holder, your institution may purchase additional DVD copies of the film for $25 or Blu Ray copies of the film for $35 each. We recommend Blu Ray purchase for any screening in a theatrical setting, as this provides the highest quality image and audio.
This license is restricted to a single organization and may not be transferred or sold.

MAJOR! TO THE PEOPLE is a free program for community-based organizations led by Queer and Trans People of Color
Our priority is to connect QTPOC communities and especially trans women of color around the United States and internationally with Miss Major’s story of resilience and resistance, and we’re seeking partnerships with community-based organizations led by Queer and Transgender People of Color working for social justice to help us make this happen.
In exchange for free access to the film and a donated copy for your organization, we’re asking that you work to make your screening free and accessible, and provide an opportunity to connect your viewing audience with local resources and services. This could include screenings at community centers, local theaters, or meeting spaces, as well as living room screenings to build social support. You can focus on just your membership, use the screening to help build your membership, or host a screening open to the public, as long as it’s free and accessible.
DVDs contain English/Spanish/French subtitles and closed caption options.
The MAJOR! to the People program is for organizations led by Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) and especially Trans Women of Color (TWOC). This means your Executive Director and/or over 50% of your leadership team/board of directors must identify as POC.
Eligible organizations include:
If your organization does not fit within the MTTP parameters, non-profit/CBO purchasing information can be found at the top of this page.
PLEASE NOTE: CAMPUS GROUPS, UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS, AND ORGANIZATIONS AFFILIATED WITH HIGHER LEARNING INSTITUTIONS are not eligible for this program. Please apply instead for our community referral program connected to educational sales, visit our Education page or contact us for details.
